| The FlashCard CopyStation III is suitable for PC Cards
and all storage media which can
be used in a PC Card
adapter. It is supplied as a complete, ready-to-use
system.
The system consists of a PC
without monitor, pre-installed altec copying
software running under
Windows XP Professional and four PC Card drives with a
total of 8 PC Card Slots.
Compatible media
The following storage media can be used in the FlashCard CopyStation III:

ATA Flash PC Cards and
all other storage media which can be used in a PC Card
Adapter.

Copying methods
Two different copying methods are
available for copying the data – copying of the entire
card images and copying of so-called short images.

Copying speed
The copying speed is nearly eight times faster than previous
altec CopyStations. For example, copying of eight
PC Cards
with 512 MB each takes about 2,5 minutes (the speed is dependent on the brand and model of memory card).
