| The FlashCard CopyStation III CF Mobile is suitable for CF Cards Type I & II and all storage media which can be used in a CF Card adapter. The system consists of a external USB 2.0 CF Card Drive with a total of 2 CF Card Type I & II Slots and altec copying software running under Windows XP or Vista.
Compatible media
The following storage media can be used in the FlashCard CopyStation III CF Mobile :
– ATA Flash CompactFlash Cards Type I & II and all other storage media which can be used in a CF Card adapter*, e.g.:
– SD & SDHC Cards,
– miniSD & miniSDHC Cards,
– microSD & microSDHC Cards,
– MultiMediaCards,
– all Memory Sticks,
– xD-Cards.
* depending on used adapter
Copying methods
Three different copying methods are available
for copying the data - copying
of entire data images, copying
of short images or copying of
files and directories.

Copying speed
The copying speed has clearly been increased and now amounts to approx. 20 MByte/s. For example, copying of two CF Cards with 512 MB each takes about approx. 45 seconds (the speed is dependent on the brand and model of card and the used USB connection).
This copying system benefits from the know-how and experience resulting from more than ten years of CopyStation development at altec.
