| The FlashCard CopyStation III CF is suitable for CF Cards Type I & II and all storage media which can be used in a CF Card adapter. It is supplied as a complete, ready-to-use system.
The system consists of a PC without monitor, pre-installed altec copying software running under Windows Vista and four CF Card drives with a total of 8 CF Card Type I &II Slots.
Compatible media
The following storage media can be used in the FlashCard CopyStation III CF:
– ATA Flash CompactFlash Cards Type I & II and all other storage media which can be used in a CF Card Adapter. For example:
– SD & SDHC Cards,
– miniSD & miniSDHC Cards,
– microSD & microSDHC Cards,
– MultiMediaCards,
– alle Memory Sticks,
– xD-Cards.
Copying methods
Three different copying methods are available for copying the data
- copying of entire data images, copying of short images or copying
of files and directories.

Copying speed
The copying speed has clearly been increased and now amounts to approx. 50 MByte/s. For example, copying of eight CF Cards with 512 MB each takes about 1.5 minutes (the speed is dependent on the brand and model of memory card and teh used adaptor).
This copying system benefits from the know-how and experience resulting from more than ten years of CopyStation development at altec.
