SanDisk is transitioning its industrial
product line to a new
technology.
Starting immediately, CompactFlash Cards, PC Cards and 2.5" FlashDrives
in Standard and Industrial Grade versions will be manufactured with a new 32-bit
controller and new memory chips with a higher level
of integration.
This results in higher maximum storage
capacities and
in some cases significantly improved read and write speeds.
They are also
now manufacturing SD Cards
in industrial grade versions.
The industrial grade Flash products are characterized by extremely
high reliability (MTBF > 3
mio. hours), long life time (write/
delete cycles > 2 mio.)
and very good shock (up to 3000 G) and
vibration resistence (30 G).
For these reasons, SanDisk is now offering a 7 years
warranty on these products.
PC Cards will also be available in standard
grade versions in addition to the industrial
grade versions. |

The standard grade products CompactFlash Card
and PC Card will be supplied with a new label design.
The 2.5" IDE FlashDrives and all exchangeable memory cards with the
exception of SD Cards
will also be available with an extended temperature
range of –40°C
to +85°C.

– CF Cards S-Grade and I-Grade, up to 4 GB
– SD Cards I-Grade, up to 512 MB
