altec ComputerSysteme GmbH presents RoHS compliant IDE PC Card Drive EasyDrive II: 


Press Release:
altec ComputerSysteme GmbH presents the EasyDrive II, a RoHS compliant successor of altec’s proven EasyDrive.

This internal PC Card Drive in standard 3.5" case is supplied with a 40-pin IDE connector with 2.54 mm pin spacing.

The drive has a double slot at the front for PC Card memory media with True IDE Mode such as ATA Flash PC Cards (2x Type I or II or 1x Type III). I/O PC Cards are not supported.

EasyDrive II is particularly suited for use as an IDE-drive or as a removable medium for industrial applications.

It is compatible with MS Windows 95b/98, ME, 2000 and XP, Linux Kernel 2.4 or later and Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
