Solid Full Metal USB 2.0 memory stick for rough environmental conditions 

altec ComputerSyssteme GmbH enhances its Full Metal product line with the release of its new USB 2.0 memory stick.

The Full Metal USB 2.0 memory stick is a rugged and compact storage solution for rough environmental conditions. The use of Flash memory, which is encapsulated in a 2 mm aluminium case, provides the memory stick with shock and vibration resistance.

The Full Metal stick is currently available in capacities from 128MB to 1.0 GB and for a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C (operating). A special resin filled case to protection class IP68 and an extended temperature range of –40°C to +85°C (operating) is also available upon request.

The memory stick comes in the following size: 57 x 18 x 9 mm. Custom case designs, colours and laser-engraving are available according to client needs.

The Full Metal stick has a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface and is downwards compatible to the USB 1.1. No driver is required for Windows ME, 2000 and XP or Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS X.
