With the USB MultiDrive 4, altec is offering a drive with standard 3.5" case
and slots for most popular Flash memory cards.
The USB MultiDrive 4 has four slots for memory cards: ATA PC Cards
or HDDs in PC Card Format (Type I or II), CompactFlash Cards (Type
I or II) or Microdrives, SD Cards or MultiMediaCards and Memory Sticks.
By using appropriate PC Card, CF or SD adapter, the drive is compatible
to almost all other memory cards.
Each slot appears under Windows as a separate removable media drive.
This way data can be copied directly between cards inserted in different
slots.
The drive has an USB 2.0 interface which is downwards compatible to
USB 1.1. It is Mass storage compliant.

The USB MultiDrive 4 is running under Windows ME, 2000 with Service Pack 3,
XP and Mac OS 10.1.5 and higher without drivers. Drivers are supplied for
Windows 98SE and 2000 without Service Pack 3.
The standard drive comes as an internal version with 3.5" case or as
an external version in a robust, grey plastic case. Moreover, optional extensions
are available on request.
