2. NEW: Memory Stick PRO & PRO Duo CardBoxes
 Both
new CardBoxes for the High-Speed
CopyStation can hold up to 20 memory cards.
The Memory Stick PRO CardBox (Item no. B31AL16164PRO) is compatible with MS PRO
Duo and MS Micro M2 Cards, when a MS PRO adapter is used. The Memory Stick PRO
Duo CardBox (Item no. B31AL164D) is only compatible with this card format since
we do not know an adapter between MS Micro M2 and MS PRO Duo.
Since we have already delivered those CardBoxes ordered in advance, the new CardBoxes

3. NEW: altec EasyDrive II
 The
successor of our proved EasyDrive is
now available. EasyDrive II is
an internal PC Card Drive in standard 3.5" case with
40-pin IDE connector.
This RoHS compliant drive is compatible with MS Windows 95b/98, ME, 2000 and
XP, Linux Kernel 2.4 or later and Mac OS X 0.3 or later without drivers. More...

4. SanDisk and SiliconSystems
price reductions
 Between
November and December, prices for SanDisk Memory
Stick PRO Duo memory cards have droppped
between 8% and 11%.
In November we have already passed on price reductions of up to 11% for all SiliconSystems
products.

5. New CopyStations brochure
 The
new brochure provides you with an overview on all available
or soon to be released altec CopyStations for
memory cards.
In order to make it easy for you to find the right CopyStation, a memory media
compatibility matrix, other decision guidance as well as a list with optional
features are included.

6. New CopyStations
data sheets
 We
have updated all data sheets for our CopySystems.
Especially the data sheet for our High-Speed CopyStation as well as the related website have
been completely revised. We have added the new Memory Stick CardBoxes, the new
Dell hardware, the new duplication software as well as some new item numbers.

 The

8. NEW: SanDisk 4 GB SDHC
Card Ultra II
 SanDisk
has introduced higher capacities for the Ultra II product
series. The SD
High Capacity Card Ultra II is
based on the new SD 2.0 specification and stores 4 GB.
The new card is not downward compatible with the existing SD Cards. The
SDHC memory media fits into conventional SD Card Slots or adapters – but
devices as card readers, adapters or digital cameras need to be compatible to
the new standard.

9. NEW: SanDisk 16 GB
CompactFlash Ultra II
 After
having already introduced CompactFlash Extreme III
Cards with capacities of 12 and 16 GB, SanDisk
now announces the release of a CompactFlash
Ultra II with 16 GB.
This memory card is ideal for storing pictures in RAW-format when using digital
SLRs.

10. SanDisk SD, miniSD & microSD
with Hermon III
SanDisk has also announced the implementation of the new Hermon III controller
in SD Cards, miniSD and microSD.
These products are transitioning from 90 to 70 nm.
All these changes help to improve the memory cards’ performance. Please
contact Mr. Soeren Papenberg to find out which memory cards are affected by these
changes. Qualification samples of all memory cards mentioned above are available
from now on.

11. Office will be closed

12. December price lists for downloading
If you haven't already done so, you can register to
receive our monthly price list online in the price section of our website. After
receiving your passwort, you can download the current price list for industrial
memory media and Consumer/OEM products.
The price list can be downloaded as a PDF file (ca. 200 KB) or as a zipped
Excel file (ca. 1.2 MB).
