1. Higher capacities for Memtech Mustang & Bulldog

The Memtech IDE Solid State Disks AT1830 Mustang, AT2515 Bulldog and AT3515 Bulldog are now available with 4 and 8 GB capacities.

We now can provide entry level FlashDisks with higher capacities from Memtech, USA in 1.8", 2.5" as well as in 3.5".

2. Higher capacities for SiliconDrive products

SiliconSystems doubles the capacity of its entire line-up of SiliconDrive Solid-State Storage products.

The 40-pin Module is available in 4 GB, the CompactFlash Card in 8 GB and the PC Card as well as the 2.5" Drive in 16 GB.

3. Price reduction at SiliconDrive products

We already lowered the prices of SiliconDrive products especially with medium and high capacities in our last price list.

Due to the new prices and the unique SiSMART Technology the Industrial Grade SiliconDrive products become more attractive.

4. SiliconSystems expands

SiliconSystems has significantly expanded its Aliso Viejo, Los Angeles, California headquarters to service the company’s burgeoning global account base and to meet demand for its patented SiliconDrive technology.

The headquarters expansion coincides with the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary, SiliconSystems U.K. Limited, based in Oxford, United Kingdom which will oversee SiliconSystems’ activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets.

5. altec at Nepcon in Birmingham

Like in the last year, we have supported our distributor Cupio Ltd. at Nepcon in Birmingham, England. There we have presented our portfolio of CopyStations.

Nepcon is the UK’s only national, dedicated electronics exhibition with more than 200 exhibitors.

6. Press release about microSD/TransFlash CardBox

We published last week a press release about our new microSD CardBox.

The compatibility of the CardBox with TransFlash memory cards completes now the product page as well as the new version of the data sheet of the High-Speed CopyStation.

7. EOL: altec Flash Card Drives

We regret to inform you that all altec Flash Card Drives will be withdrawn from our program on June 30th, 2006 because they are not compliant with the new RoHS regulations.

Remaining stock can still be supplied to customers who do not need to meet the RoHS regulations after July 1st, 2006.

A RoHS compliant version of the EasyDrive and an improved, lead-free USB MultiDrive 4 are being developed as fast as possible. We also plan to develop an RoHS compliant version of the i-Drive.

For your project requirements, we can manufacture Industrial Grade Flash Card Drives to your specifications with a range of different interface options.

8. EOL: altec Solid State Disks

We regret to inform you that all altec Solid State Disk, including the CF-IDE adapter, will be withdrawn from our program on June 30th, 2006 because they are not compliant with the new RoHS regulations. RoHS compliant versions will be available very soon.

We will keep you informed of all new altec RoHS compliant products as soon as they become available.

Please notify us of your upcoming requirements. This will help us to assign the best priorities to our ongoing development work.

9. EOL: SanDisk SD Card Ultra II 512 MB

Our supplier SanDisk has announced the End Of Life of the 512 MB SD Card Ultra II.

A Last Time Buy is possible until July 31st, 2006. The delivery will take place before October 30th, 2006.

10. EOL: SanDisk SD Card & CompactFlash 64 MB

SanDisk has announced the End Of Life of the 64 MB capacities of the SD Card and the CompactFlash Card.

We kindly ask you to place all orders with us until August 24th. All deliveries will be made until November 24th, 2006.

11. June price lists for downloading

If you haven't already done so, you can register to receive our monthly price list online in the price section of our website. After receiving your passwort, you can download the current price list for industrial memory media and Consumer/OEM products.

The price list can be downloaded as a PDF file (ca. 200 KB) or as a zipped Excel file (ca. 1,3 MB).
