CopyStation
Before the end of the month we will be introducing a new CardBox for our modular
designed High-Speed
CopyStation.
With this CardBox, the parallel duplication of up to 20 card images on microSD
memory cards is possible. Shortly you will find more information on our homepage.

Now there are two separate websites for the worldwide unique automated copying

4. High-Speed CopyStation software
options as trial versions
Good news for all our High-Speed
CopyStation clients. Starting immediately, we offer an extended
CopyStation software trial version.
The software options »Parallel Verification« and »Software
interface for exchanging data with external applications« are available
as trial versions, which allow either the programming of 2000 cards or which
are running for two weeks. Please contact our sales
team, if you are interested in this trial software.

5. NEW: SiliconDrive™ products
with back label
Starting April 17th, 2006, SiliconSystems adds a back label on all SiliconDrive CompactFlash,
PC Card and 2.5'' Drive form factors. This back label will include lot code
information in both human-readable and Code 128 barcode formats. More...

6. SiliconDrive RoHS Cross Reference
Matrix
From now on you can order RoHS compliant SiliconDrive
products. Samples are already available.
The new RoHS compliant SiliconDrive products will be marked with different suffixes.
A RoHS Cross Reference Matrix will provide you with an overview of all versions

7. NEW: SanDisk products RoHS
compliant
With the exception of RS-MMC memory cards, all of the SanDisk
products which we offer will be gradully delivered in RoHS
compliant versions.
The letter »B« added in front of altec's item numbers marks RoHS
compliant versions, »B« standing for German »bleifrei« (lead-free).
There will be no changes in the SanDisk item numbers.

8. altec USB MultiDrive 4
available starting calendar week 16
The industrial Card Drive USB
MultiDrive 4 will be delivered for the first time in calendar
week 16. Available will be both an external and an internal version for
USB 2.0.
The Card Drive is compatible with PC Cards, CompactFlash, SD Cards,
MMCs and Memory Sticks. All other current card formats are compatible by using
appropriate adapters.

9. EOL: Memtech AT2525 & 3525
Our distributor Memtech has announced the EOL of its Booster Rocket products AT2525 and AT3525.
A Last Time Buy is possible until April 30th, 2006.
We kindly ask you to place your orders with us until April 27th, 2006. The delivery
will take place before June 30th, 2006. The Bulldog product line AT2515 and AT3515 is
recommended as replacements.

10. New sales engineer at altec
In order to provide you with an even better service, we have expanded our sales
team. Mr. Marco Wilms joined our team on March 1st, 2006, as a sales representative
for the German postal code regions 1-5. His main focus is on all the altec products
as well as on custom developments.
Marco Wilms has a degree in electronics engineering and can look back on several
years of experience in the sales field. Before, Mr. Wilms has been working in
the branch of IT and network, being responsible for the support of industrial
clients.
Mr. Wilms is
looking forward to a successful and good cooperation with you!

11. Weekly Webshop specials
In Mid-March we have started offering weekly specials to all our Webshop customers.
Each special consists of three different products at attractive prices and is
available for a week.
Please note that right now our webshop service is only available to our German
customers.

13. April price lists for downloading
If you haven't already done so, you can register to
receive our monthly price list online in the price section of our website. After
receiving your passwort, you can download the current price list for industrial
memory media and Consumer/OEM products.
The price list can be downloaded as a PDF file (ca. 200 KB) or as a zipped
Excel file (ca. 1,3 MB).
