From now on you can order RoHS compliant SiliconDrive products. Samples
are already available.
Delivery time for all products will be 6 to 8 weeks. So on July 1st, 2006,
all products will be available in RoHS compliant versions.
The new RoHS compliant SiliconDrive products will be marked with
different suffixes based on -35xx.
The standard product with the suffix -3500 is
characterized as follows: RoHS 6/6 compliant, DMA Support, Autosense for
Fixed Device in IDE Mode
and Removable Device in PCMCIA Mode, SiSMART.
Alternatively there is a product
marked with the suffix -3550 with the following
features: RoHS 6/6 compliant, DMA Support, Autosense, SiSMART as
well as optional SiFeatures such as SiSweep/SiPurge,
SiProtect/SiSecure, SiBoost, SiZone or SiKey.
Products with suffix -3512 have the following
features:
RoHS 6/6 compliance, DMA Support, fixed and
no SiSMART.
Products marked with the
suffix -3521 only differ from those marked
with -3512 because they do not have
DMA Support.
CompactFlash Cards and PC Cards are also available with suffix -3502 and
the following features: RoHS 6/6
compliant, no
DMA Support, Removable Device, no
SiSMART. Other versions are available on
request.
