More than 100 companies went to Las
Vegas in Januar
2000 to found the Secure
Digital Association. The aim of the industry alliance is to develop standards
for
the Secure Digital Memory Card. It also aims to further promote the
acceptance of this technology in the industry.
The alliance is led by Matsushita Electric
Industrial (Panasonic),
SanDisk and Toshiba.
Other key members are IBM, Microsoft, Samsung, Mitsubishi, HP, Compac and
Minolta.

standards-setting and state-of-the-art alliance. Our aim is to contribute
our Know-how in the field of Flash
technology,
above all our experience in the development of applications for the MultiMediaCard.
We will be able to take a pole position in the
development of new technologies in this sector and
