1. Inspection to CeBIT 2008 - invitation to Media-Tech Expo 2008

Many thanks to the numerous visitors of our stand on CeBIT 2008 and in parallel organised altec OpenHouse in our company headquarters.

altec ComputerSysteme informed many visitors and long-standing partners about altec's range of products and altec's services around Flash media products.
In addition new proprietary developments were shown to the visitors. We are also chuffed about our new acquired customers and the orders already received shortly after the CeBIT.

For prospective customers with no possibility to visit us during the CeBIT 2008 there's also the opportunity to visit altec ComputerSysteme on MEDIA-TECH Expo 2008. Please arrange an appointment with your altec contact. The MEDIA-TECH Expo 2008 will be from May 6th to 8th, 2008, on the fairground in Frankfurt (Germany), hall 5, booth B51.

4. FlashCard CopyStation III with 30 MB/s

First prototypes of soon coming FlashCard CopyStation III have a copying rate of more than 30 MB/s and copies eight CompactFlash Cards with 512 MB in an PC Cards Adapter in approx. 2,5 min. (speed depends on memory card type).

Software option for creating and copying smaller image files; with this, memory cards where much less data is stored than the actual storage capacity permits can be programmed much quicker.

SanDisk has announced the End of Life of miniSD Cards (altec Art.-Nr. B21SDxxxJC, SanDisk Art.-Nr. SDSDM-xxx-K) until June 1st, 2008.

Last order date for this item is May 30th, 2008. Last deliveries will be made until September 1st, 2008.

As alternative we offer microSD Cards with adapter for miniSD.
