1. Invitation to CeBIT 2008
Come and visit us at CeBIT 2008!
You can either learn more about us and our wide range of
products at the CeBIT fairground or in our offices.
At CeBIT you will find altec on the «ICT in Motion» booth D38
in hall 15.
But we also cordially invite you to visit us in
our offices
in Bayernstr. 10 in Langenhagen. Our offices are located only 25 km
from the fairground and 5 km from the airport. From March 4th to
9th, 2008, 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, we will be looking forward to your visit.

2. Robo CopyStation M2 for quality assurance
In January 2008, altec ComputerSysteme GmbH has shipped another Robo
CopyStation M2. The automated CopyStation has already
reached its destination in South East Asia.
A manufacturer of Flash memory cards does not only use the
Robo CopyStation for the duplication of card images, but also to ensure
the quality of the memory media produced.
The adjustments of software and hardware to the needs of
our client have been realized in very short time. An altec
engineer has already successfully introduced the CopyStation
to its new users.

3. NEW: FlashCard CopyStation III
altec ComputerSysteme GmbH has further improved its popular FlashCard
CopyStation II. Especially the copying rate has been
enhanced.
The new FlashCard CopyStation III is a complete system which
consists of a PC with altec hardware as well as the altec
copying software.
The CopyStation has eight ATA PC Card slots. It therefore
is compatible with PC Cards and copies almost all memory which can be used
with an ATA compatible PC Card Adapter.

6. EOL: SanDisk CF Extreme III
Our supplier SanDisk has announced the End of Life of
the complete product line CompactFlash
Cards Extreme III
(altec item no. B15SDxxxX3JC, SanDisk item no. SDCFX3-xxx-388-J)
until May 20th, 2008.
Until May 18th, 2008, we will still take orders for
this product. Last delivery date will be August 20th, 2008.
As alternative products we offer CompactFlash
Cards Ultra II, which will have an increased read/write
performance of 15 MB/s starting Q1/2008.

7. EOL: SanDisk CF 256 MB, 2 and 4 GB
SanDisk

in capacities of 256 MB, 2 and 4 GB (altec item no.
B15SDxxxJC, SanDisk item no. SDCFJ-xxx-388-J) are also
EOL.
Last order date for the 256 MB capacity is April 25th,
for the capacities 2 and 4 GB May 1st, 2008. Please
order until April 24th or April 30th, 2008. Last delivery
dates will be July 25th or August
1st, 2008.
Please use other capacities or the CompactFlash
Card Ultra II
line as alternatives.

SanDisk has also announced the End of Life of 1 GB
capacities for CompactFlash
Card Ultra II

as well as for SD Card
Ultra II
(altec item no. B24SD1024U2JC, SanDisk item no. SDSDH-1024-J.
Last order date for both items is April 25th, 2008. Last
deliveries will be made until July 25th, 2008.
As alternatives we offer both products in capacities
of 2 GB and higher.

are also announced EOL by SanDisk until April 25th,
2008.
Please order until April 24th, 2008. Last delivery date
