2. NEW: Full Metal Stick Military
altec ComputerSysteme GmbH just realized for one customer
the complex demands for vibration, shock and climatic resistance
even under extremely rough environmental conditions as for
example in military systems.
In an independent test laboratory, the new altec
Full Metal Stick Military
was subjected to extensive vibration, shock and climate tests
tested.
The Full Metal Stick successfully passed all test procedures
according to German DIN standards such as DIN EN 60068-2-1,
DIN EN 60068-2-78, DIN EN 60068-2-6, DIN EN 60068-2-27 and DIN EN 60068-2-29.
The Full Metal
Stick is MIL-STD 810F certified.
altec’s Full Metal Stick is also available in a standard version.

4. NEW: Serialization for all USB Stick
CopyStations
We now offer the unique software option which allows
customization of USB memory sticks for USB
Stick CopyStation 21
and USB
Stick CopyStation 21 Ultra.
Here a software interface for data exchange with external
applications adds to the standard copying software.
When this software feature is activated, each USB stick
will be shown as logical drive under Windows XP after it has been programmed
with content, and an external software program is started.
Serial number
and logical drive letter of each USB memory stick are passed on to this
program. Not every USB memory stick has an individual serial number. If
there is no individual number, a series of zeros is transferred.
The external software can be programmed by the customer
according to his needs. This programming can also be done by altec’s
Development Divsion. For instance this program could create specific
data files, which are then copied to the individual USB stick.
This allows
an individualization of each memory stick’s content.

5. Price reductions on
CopyStation software options
We have reduced the prices of our CopyStations’ software options.
Price reductions for our High-Speed
CopyStation
software options vary from 16% on the Short Image Files
software to almost 60% on the Parallel Verification software.
The Short Image Files software of FlashCard
CopyStation II
went down in price by 52%, and File Copy software of USB
Stick CopyStations
by 31%.

6. Reduced prices for SanDisk CF and SD
Card
We pass on SanDisk’s current price reductions on some

to you. Affected are especially higher capacities.

7. EOL: USB Stick CopyStation 21
Our newest CopyStation USB Stick CopyStation 21 Ultra
is already a bestseller.
As a result of this great success of our USB Stick
Stick CopyStation 21 Ultra and the enhanced performance provided by this
station at a marginal increase in cost only, we have decided to terminate
the USB Stick CopyStation 21.
Of course we will continue to offer you support (including
upcoming software updates) for this CopyStation.

8. Successful recertification ISO 9001:2000
Three years after its
first certification,
altec ComputerSysteme
has successfully passed the recertification audit for the ISO 9001:2000
certification of its quality management system.
The audit was carried out in November 2007 at our premises
by the company SGS
Deutschland GmbH.
