Version
The Ultra Version of USB Stick CopyStation 21 is among the
fastest CopyStations for USB sticks worlwide. It is immediately
available.
It helps you duplicate content to your USB sticks as fast
as never before. Transfer rates of approximately 70 MB/s
can be reached. This means: 21 USB sticks with 512 MB are
programmed in ca. 2.5 minutes.
The new CopyStation completes the CopyStation portfolio for
USB sticks. In addition to the entry level solutions with 7
and
21
slots, altec now offers you this version for the high volume
duplication of content to USB sticks.

2. New prices due to allocation at Samsung
Our suppliers SiliconSystems
snd
Memtech/STEC
have raised their prices in August due the allocation of Samsung
SLC NAND Flash. This was caused by a week-long production downtime in Samsung’s
main plant.
Unfortunately, these new prices will affect your orders as
well since we were forced to adjust our prices. This does
not apply for stock articles which we could purchase before
the prices were raised.

5. EOL: Memtech Bulldog
and Wolverine
Our supplier Memtech
has announced the End Of Life of its Solid State Flash
Drive product lines Memtech Wolverine AT2550
and
AT3550
as well as Memtech Bulldog AT2515
and
AT3515.
In order to go through with current projects as well
as to satisfy other needs, there is a chance to place final orders for
these products now.
There are only very limited quantities available.
Shipments will be as soon as possible.

6. EOL: SanDisk miniSD and microSD 64 MB
Our supplier SanDisk
has announced the End Of Life for the 64 MB capacities
of both miniSD
(altec Item no. B21SD64JC, SanDisk Item no. SDSDM-64-K)
and microSD
(altec Item no. B27SD64JC, SanDisk Item no. SDSDQ-64-K).
Last order date for both products is October 31st,
2007. Last shipments will be made until December 31st,
2007.
We recommend using products with capacities of 128 MB
or higher as replacements.

7. altec products at «Elektrotechniek
2007»
From October 1st to October 5th, 2007, our Dutch distributor elincom
electronics
will be exhibiting at the Elektrotechniek
2007.
Elektrotechniek 2007 is the leading trade event for
the electro-technical branch. 33.000 visitors are expected to attend
the event.
At the elincom booth you will have among others the
opportunity to get an overview of altec’s range of products.
