2. NEW: Fixed Device Driver for CF & PC Card
Typically, PC Cards
and
CompactFlash
Cards
are recognized under Windows as removable devices in standard
PCMCIA slots (for instance in notebooks). But Windows supports
only one partition and only FAT-formatted memory cards.
altec developed a new driver for Windows 2000 and XP, which
mounts these cards even in standard PCMCIA slots as a Fixed Device, thus
making functions such as partitioning or NTFS formatting available like
with a HDD.
This way, for instance CF or PC Cards with several partitions,
which are used in embedded systems as HDD-replacements, can be used in notebooks
as well.
If you are interested in receiving further information or
if you need specific adjustments for your applications, please
contact our competent
sales team.

and

Under these subdivisions you will find all distributors
with logo, address and contact information.
