1. Distributors wanted worldwide
Strategic alliances and international distributors
have ensured us an international market presence which is effective for our customers. We would like to continue this positive development.
We are currently expanding our distribution network in Europe
and Overseas. You already have experience in the field of distribution?
Come and join us.
You are interested? Please contact Mr. Holger
Schott
(Europe) or Mr.
Olaf
Meier
(Overseas/USA).
We would like to take this as an opportunity to thank our
distributors for the long-term collaboration which we would like to intensify
even more.

2. Handling of the microSD CardBox
We have revised our User Guide for the High-Speed CopyStation
and have dedicated the whole chapter 2.3 to the handling of
the microSD CardBox.
This CardBox differs in some distinctive features from other
CardBoxes since high quality spring contacts are used. These spring contacts
only provide high stability when being handled correctly. Due to the size
of the microSD, the placing and removing of the microSD needs some extra
explanation. There are also some special instructions for the servicing
and maintenance of the CardBox.
If you are using the microSD CardBox, we strongly advise
you to study the revised User Guide
(PDF)
carefully.

3. NEW: SanDisk CompactFlash Extreme III
A new addition to the SanDisk Consumer/OEM portfolio is the CompactFlash
Extreme III
memory card (SDCFX3-xxx-388-J, altec Item no. B15SDxxxX3JC).
Due to the «Enhanced Super-Parallel Processing» technology,
these cards have even more performance than the CF Ultra II.
According to SanDisk, sequential read/write speeds of
stens 20 MB/s can be reached.
This as well as the extended temperature range (–25° to +85°C)
make these cards the ideal solution for demanding applications.
CF Extreme III cards are available in capacities from
2 to 16 GB.

4. NEW: SanDisk Memory
Stick Micro M2
Another new addition to SanDisk’s portfolio are the Memory
Stick Micro M2
memory cards (SDMSM2-xx-K, altec Item no. B22SDxxJC).
These are mainly used as additional memory in the latest
Sony Ericsson mobile phones.
Right now, we can offer capacities from 256 MB to 2 GB.

5. SanDisk microSD with miniSD adapter
microSD
cards from SanDisk are optionally available with matching

Currently, microSD cards are available in capacities
of 256 MB
to 2 GB.

6. SanDisk products starting from 512 MB
low priced
As a result of SanDisk’s latest price reductions, the price differences
between the smaller capacities are becoming smaller and smaller. This
way, capacities starting from 512 MB offer an excellent price/performance
ratio. This development is also based on new manufacturing processes.
SanDisk products
with capacities of 512MB and 1GB are also first-choice regarding
their availability.
